I was just sitting here, working on paperwork and needing something sweet. It was definitely gonna have chocolate in it. There were some cake mixes that Friendly passed along after cleaning out her pantry. Hmmm.... Cake Mix Cookie Bars!
After searching online, I found a recipe similar to this one. As usual, I couldn't leave the recipe alone and had to tweak it. These turned out super tasty. They are very easy to make and solved the sweet tooth in a hurry!
After these turned out so great; my mind starting going crazy with possible flavor combinations. Chocolate cake and peanut butter chips or butterscotch chips. White cake with strawberry chips. Spice cake with spice chips. Or making a huge sheet pan full and swirling 2 kinds of cake mix and chips.... Hmmm.....
