First Weigh-in!

It's been exactly one week since I started this diet.  It's been a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables along with grilled meat with little to no seasoning.

Guess what?

I survived it.

Not only did I survive it, but I lost 7 POUNDS!

I'm a bit in shock, although you won't hear me complaining.

I've spent the week eating mostly raw veggies and fruit.

And I really can't complain about my lunch:


  • 3 oz. tuna fish water-packed, low sodium
  • 1 cup mixed salad greens
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 large celery stalk
  • 2 fresh radishes (medium)
  • 4 tsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of croutons

Yummy lunch.

For breakfast, I've been eating one scrambled egg (fried in a bit of olive oil) - and I add 1 teaspoon of low fat shredded cheddar cheese, half a cup of strawberries & blueberries and half a wheat English muffin.

Love the results I've got.  Hate that I can't "really cook" the way I want to. But I'm learning that I don't need to add marinades and sauces to everything.

Ooooh...and I've been doing a self-hypnosis, weight loss MP3.  I think it's definitely working. Today was my husband's birthday so we went to Texas Roadhouse.  Nothing I ordered tasted good and I wanted so much to love it!

Gotta love my husband. This picture is him in action, and all the while he was talking about losing weight as I have. YAY!
